Southwest Florida is the region located along the Gulf Coast south of the Tampa Bay area, west of Lake Okeechobee and mostly north of the Everglades. In four years, from 2000 to 2004, the region had an estimated population growth of 13.5%, making it a great place to invest.  The most popular county in the region is Lee, and the largest city in the region is Cape Coral with an estimated population of 151,389 in 2006.
